Too bad! Strangely enough, scientists are making more progress in curing cancer than they are with obesity. One would think that obesity would be easier.

Somehow I'm not surprised. In fact, I am surprised when scientists discover that a specific gene is responsible for, for example, eye color or height. And what surprises me even more is how they are not surprised about it!

Sure, the human body is too complex, but in many ways it's similar to a complex computer software; some features are controlled by one single flag, and others require lengthy procedures.

But, among the thousands of genes, wouldn't a few have the most significant effect and could be targeted as a reasonable cure?
