[Discussion] Profile surfing
Would it be possible to enable voting on articles from a person's profile? Otherwise it can take awhile to troll through old posts to find the correct article or discussion. Also, it would be nice if number of comments were shown correctly.

It would also be nice but not that important if when you attempt to post a duplicate of an article that a link to the original article is provided. Sometimes titles don't match and in a few months it will be much harder to search let alone a few years.

Actually, we're were working to fix the links on the profile page, but got distracted with an issue that's forcing us to switch to a new server. Originally, the idea was to allow storing links on the profile page without necessarily sharing them with the community (kinda like a simple bookmarking service). This caused some confusion and added complexity to our code. So, we're hoping to fix that in the next few days, while keeping the ability to save bookmarks for personal use.

As for duplicates, we go by the URL. So we don't list an article twice if the URL is the same. And, hopefully a search feature will be available before it gets really hard to find things. Thanks for your feedback.

Thank you for replying. What I meant on the duplicates issue is that when you attempt to post an URL that is already shared and the page alerts you; having a link to that previous posting would be nice so you can vote on it since you probably liked the article if you want to post it. Otherwise you have to do some hunting which can be difficult if the poster put a different title on the article.

When are you switching servers?

I see. That should be an easy fix and I'll add it to our next update in a few days. Thanks.

We're on the new server now. Just finished the migration and testing 15 minutes ago. If errors popup somewhere, I would appreciate the heads up. Thank you.

By the way, as we switch to the new server the site might go down for a few hours. We'll try to minimize that and do it at night, but due to DNS prorogation delays, we can't eliminate it completely.
