What I don't like about them choosing that name is that, as their work gets more public, it'll hijack the Singularity name. Someone searching for Web pages related to the Technological Singularity will see mostly Microsoft pages at the top.

i agree. a total hijacking. i kind of hope it underperforms and becomes a joke among the singularity-aware...
